A steering group has formed to develop a non-profit restaurant. We are looking to expand the board with like-minded individuals.
The restaurant serves as a place where we provide fresh, organic food in a respectful and dignified manner to anyone who walks through the door. Patrons are encourage to make a donation for the food before they leave or sign up to volunteer. A consignment bakery (allowing baker volunteers to bake their favorite goodies at the restaurant and leave for resale --a portion of the profits go to the restaurant and volunteer).
The mission and philosophy is that everyone, regardless of the ability to pay, deserves the chance to eat healthy food while being treated with dignity and respect.
Do you have restaurant experience? Are you keen on doing some market research? We need you!
