Tuesday, August 10, event starting at 4pm at
Crescent Grange
7901 W. 120th Ave.
Broomfield, CO 80020
Dave Gardner, of Growth Busters, is coming to film our gardeners and talk about his film.
Event starts with gardeners being filmed in the garden teaching permaculture gardening techniques (anyone interested in being filmed is invited to participate). Questions and discussion centers around permaculture gardening techniques and the reasons for using them.
Toward the end of filming, we will open up a bee hive or two to see some bees in action. There may be bees that could be caught working in the garden. We'll see.
6PM - we have a pot luck in the Grange basement. Nushin, is coordinating this part. Please contact Nushin about what you want to bring to the pot luck. The more local food, the better.
This is a NO WASTE event. No trash cans will be provided. Bring your own stuff and plan to bring it home.
Healthy, garden oriented FINGER FOOD will be great so that we don't have to think about utensils....and will make it easier to fulfill our zero waste goals. Discussion about pot-luck dishes is happening here, on the event, on the ning site, below.
Weather permitting, we may be able to share a bit outside as long as we don't have any sweetened beverages to corrupt the bees! :-)
Here is the film's web site:

7PM we have Dave Gardner introduce the film Growth Busters, then we play the film in its current form (a trailer format). Following the film, Dave answers questions from the audience.
We advertise on the ning site & in the Broomfield Enterprise. We invite Broomfield gardeners, Grange members, Refuge members, Anchored Life members, Transition Westminster/Arvada/Broomfield members, Transition Colorado-wide email list members and the Broomfield public.
