We live in a time of crisis. The security of all past generations and the assumption that humanity will endure and thrive is lost. We are facing an unprecedented time of economic instability, food insecurity, species loss and global climate disruption. As human beings, we must figure out wiser ways to co-exist with the planet, or perish.
This workshop is an opportunity to delve into the feelings we carry about these possibilities: our grief, fear and despair and our hope for the Great Turning—the transformation from an industrial growth society to a life-sustaining civilization.
There are two ways to respond to collective trauma: we can let it divide us, or we can let it bring us together. This workshop is a conscious choice to take the path of connection through these intense challenges and to take heart and to empower yourself with action on behalf of the world and all its creatures.
This workshop is free, however, pre-registration is required. To register or for details, contact Donna Dubois at ddubois@students.naropa.edu or call 303.204.8620.
Participants should bring a water bottle, comfortable clothes, and appropriate dress for outdoor activities. There will be a break for lunch. Very light snacks will be provided. Exact Boulder location and other information will be sent upon receipt of registration. Limited to 20 participants.

Donna DuBois and Margaret Emerson
