Colorado Transition Network

IMPORTANT DEVELOPMENTS ON COLORADO TRANSITION NETWORK

We are an eclectic group of some artists and some business people. One of us has had a co-op business before and one of us has been a member of a non-profit cooperative for 20 years.
There are 14 of us right now. If you are interested, contact me and we can talk on the phone. Our organizing subcommittee meets with new prospects during the week and then you will be invited to our regular meeting. Read this article: http://shareable.net/blog/how-to-start-a-worker-co-op
We have the assistance of http://www.rmeoc.org/ behind us

We have been meeting since Sept 6 and are working on several businesses with already established businesses in the group:

1. The Denver Cooperative Vegetarian Market http://denvercoop.com/

2. Sarah's Bargain Boutique http://www.sarahsbargainboutique.com/

and others that are forming may be a Tech Collective based on http://www.flywheelcollective.com/ and a buyer's network, as well as an Indie Empowerment Festival, and some smaller craft fairs, and products: soap, candy, etc.

Orientation meeting next Tuesday Nov 1, 2011 at 3pm Pablo's Coffee Shop, 6th and Washington, Denver
