How can Art Support and Inspire Sustainability?

When we think of Sustainability, we think of hands on techniques and functions that apply to the way we live our daily life. Things like worm composters, chickens, riding bikes etc.   My question is how do you use art in your daily life to inspire connection to the spiritual side of sustainability.

I believe integrating Art that conveys the sustainable message into our homes is critical to creating a  larger sustainable culture.

How do you integrate the sustainable message through beauty, color and design into your homes decor?

I recently designed a fire pit that aligns with the four directions and the yearly cycle.  I feel that it connects with Solar Energy and the yearly Solar Cycle of Solstices and Equinoxes. It also connects with the daily cycle of high noon.  Not only is it beautiful to look at, but it is a conversation starting focal point for Solar alignment. You can read more about it at www.aquariancalendar.com

I believe there is such a thing as sustainable Art. It includes objects made from recycled materials but it also concerns the message of the Art.  What is the art inspiring or revealing?  Lets share our ideas here.
