IMPORTANT DEVELOPMENTS ON COLORADO TRANSITION NETWORK

Hey Denver Transitioners!

I just moved to Denver 2 months ago and am looking to get involved with the transition and urban agriculture movements here.

I have 2 propositions for you all:

1. I would love to meet all of you and talk about what's going on in the Denver community. I'd be happy to organize a meetup if someone can provide space or offer a suggestion. Maybe a potluck? Or we could meet at the lovely Denver Bicycle Cafe, which has lots of space and sells only local fares (snacks, coffee, beer).

2. I would also like to plant some trees for Arbor Day. Looks like there is an event in mid-May that is already maxed out on volunteers. Can anyone point me to some people to contact to acquire tree donations? Any suggested on where to plant? Maybe along Colfax or in Five Points? To what degree is permission from the city needed for a planting site?

Spring is here! Let's get this Transition in full swing!

aces,

Julia
