Comment by Margaret Beers Oliver on October 6, 2011 at 9:06am Sorry for my inactivity. My son has finally been put on the lung transplant list. Until then it will be surgery as needed to remove parts of the lung.
Safe journey all.

Comment by Becky Elder on August 7, 2011 at 7:10pm YOu all know that Pikes Peak Permaculture has a monthly potluck? It moves around and has lots of cross-pollination. Last site had many greenhouse amenities, rainwater catchment, tons of food growing and some great space to spread out in. Good place to get to meet other TT'ers and permies. If you are NOT getting the TT emails (outside of this locale) send your contact info to...

What is everyone doing to get their Spring on?
Comment by Margaret Beers Oliver on March 29, 2011 at 11:01am Beth, There is a small coffee house at the edge of our local co-housing community that is really good (prices are good also). It's called the Dog Tooth Cafe, and is located two blocks north of the Uintah and N. Corona St intersection.
Comment by Becky Elder on March 28, 2011 at 2:52pm beth,
there is a quiet local neighborhood coffee house called the Raven's Nest on the corner of Boulder Street and Institute....it is just northeast of dowtown..if you find Boulder Street (one of the main streets downtown going east and west, just north of bijou street) and head east you cant miss institute...maybe 10 blocks...Brian
Comment by Margaret Beers Oliver on March 21, 2011 at 5:46pm I know that we are desperate for water... but I don't have a backup heating system in this house yet! I can't afford for the power to go down.
However, I did start to rake some of the winter blown leaves and branches into the area to start a new raised bed.
At Becky and John... I know we need rain... several nice misty days worth in a row... nothing flooding just free!
