Is anyone interested in a Pot Luck in January?

How did the class go? Well, yes, we've been running a "centralized events calendar" at the GCC site for almost two years. I'd love help keeping it updated and getting the word out so people actually use it! ; )

Thanks for coming on the hike, Eric. We'll do another I'm sure - as well as a Northwest Earth Institute course on "A Sense of Place." Anyone from the east side of town is welcome - everybody else, too!

I'm looking for good re-skilling training activities to shoot as role models representing Transition Town activities for my documentary, Hooked on Growth. I encourage all to alert me when they have something coming up (the mutton processing would have been great). Thanks!

I'm glad to hear this, Eric! Pikes Peak Urban Gardens has a new video about a lot of new project they are involved in. I heard of this from John Conners facebook page, and then from PPUG's page.

Doing any rainwater harvesting? John Conner's suggested to me the site by Brad Lancaster about this. Just google his name if interested, or maybe you've heard of him. That's cool. Found a really neat and not too expensive set up for rainwater harvesting. Have it ordered.

To all of you out there....keep up the interest, ideas and good work!

Already a Grandma... but at least my oldest Granddaughter has brought up the question that she may not have kids. I am fine with it as is my daughter. The video looks like you had a great time making it.

Looked at the video, Dave. Great! I recognized most of the place. I've told both my children, who are adults, that it is just fine that I'm never a grandmother. Point seen and taken, and trying to pass it on.
