IMPORTANT DEVELOPMENTS ON COLORADO TRANSITION NETWORK

It seems like we just celebrated Earth Day, but soon it will be time to celebrate "Sun Day".
There is no holiday, (holy-day) in the western world designed to celebrate all that the Sun gives. Of course the day of the week, "Sunday", was named after the Sun, but almost no one celebrates the Sun then either.

This year presents us with a unique opportunity to make history in Fort Collins and celebrate the Summer Solstice as the first official "Sun Day" with a drum circle on a Sunday June 21st.

It is an act of Conscious Revolution to celebrate the Summer Solstice (the day of the most light) in public places, free and open to all, because that is how the Sun treats us. It is the way of the Sun.

Celebrating the Solstice is about common- unity, community,
not about comm-ercialism.
Celebrate the Sun because it is a unifying symbol of truth, peace and freedom.
If all of humanity would maximize their physical alignment with the sun we could have more free time and spend less of our days working for heat. We would have a cleaner environment because we could minimize the burning of fossil fuels and nuclear power. We would have less need to go to war over resources.

If this vision resonates in your heart, please come to:
City Park in Fort Collins
at High Noon 12:00pm
at the highest point in the park
on Sunday June 21st.
What to bring: Non alcoholic drinks and food, shade,
sun screen, toys, drums, smiles, your creativity!

If you can't make it, please at least forward this to friends or try to organize something in your locality.
