Please consider attending our event to raise awareness and funds for our new greenhouse which will help teach folks in metro denver a four season harvest vision.  We will have chefs prepare local foods for wonderful samples, village roaster tea and coffee, rush frozen fruit bowls, and then we have the worm man, EKAR Jewish community garden, JD of Colorado Aquaponics doing a short teaching on growing fish and produce, and Rachel Emmer will mc the meeting. We will announce some other gatherings for metro area to help city officials adapt zone and code laws to restore agriculture back to our land and life.  Donation suggested for MOVIE DIRT and whole gathering is ten dollars. Since we are a non profit it is a suggestion only.  Please rsvp on our facebook site and tell others if you can.  see attachment for details.  peace, barb moore

And this ... when it rains, it pours ... dons

Dear Friend,

I just took action calling on Secretary Vilsack and President Obama to reject the approval of Monsanto's GMO alfalfa and protect the integrity of organics. Approving GMO alfalfa will potentially destroy the integrity of and access to organic food, as well as the livelihoods of organic farmers.

The approval of GMO alfalfa is only days away and the Obama administration needs to hear from you and all of your friends who care about organics. It is outrageous to risk the contamination of the organic dairy industry simply for Monsanto's corporate profits.

Please take a moment to let Vilack and President Obama know that you care about organic integrity by following this link from Food Democracy Now!  Then please pass this on.
Every voice counts!
Thank you!
