In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I believe there is a need to bring community members who share common goals together to educate and support one another.
What background and skills do you bring to this community?
*B.A. in Environmental Studies and Education
*M.A. in Ecological Planning and Sustainable Design
*Experience with organic farming, permaculture, and animal husbandry.
*Proven ability to see projects from conception to completion.
*Research and networking abilities to close information gaps and promote collaboration.
*Track record includes public and private facilitation, nonprofit management, community outreach, fund raising, and grant writing.
*Experience developing and implementing educational material.
*Experience hiring, training, and managing employees and volunteers.
*Able to work independently and in teams; to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
*Creative, organized, and self-directed.
How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement?
I am hardworking, dedicated, caring, and mostly importantly, I believe in this movement.
