Profile Information

How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
I've started a company called Local Food Solutions. We encourage people to grow food at home through the design and sale of products that are easy to assemble, easy to use, and easy to maintain. We innovate and design small-scale farming setups with an urban appeal so they can be integrated into metropolitan environments.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
The Transition movement is very important to me because it is a necessary revolution. In order to build a better world, we must first embrace the Transition principles and restructure our way of living. Personally, I think our current system can and will be improved, but we need to have a social, economic, and environmental revolution to do so.
What background and skills do you bring to this community?
I am studying as an Environmental Engineer at the University of Colorado.
How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement?
Primarily through my business and the design of products that support the local food campaign. But also through community involvement and social activism. I am very willing to volunteer my time for the Transition movement.
