Liberation Economics: Financial Permaculture for Transition at Boulder Meadows Community Room

Community Roots Urban Gardens

Community Roots is a Neighborhood Supported Agriculture (NSA) project based in the south Boulder neighborhood, Martin Acres. We practice small plot intensive growing methods, utilizing mostly residential yards.

How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
I play old time music for community events.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I am interested in this movement because I believe it offers a way to redefine wealth, economy and resources. I enjoy the community and the undoing of denial and appreciation for new ways of living.
What background and skills do you bring to this community?
I am a graduate student in Environmental Leadership from Naropa University. I play music, lead ceremonies, and come well equipped with a spirit of hope and joy.
How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement?
By showing up one step at a time.
