Profile Information

How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?: Since September, I have been organizing a worker cooperative grocery and food distribution center in Denver - with a bunch of others - we are currently educating ourselves re: what's going on already so we can make the best decisions possible for the community.

Working with RMEOC - Rocky Mountain Employee Ownership Center - to create a model and incubator for sustainable work for Coloradoans.

In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?: I am an artist - I am interested because I am alive during these times. I am disgusted with the unethical capitalism that has evolved recently and the destruction of our resources.

What background and skills do you bring to this community?: I am an artist. I have a talent for organizing unlikely and diverse elements into a unified whole.

How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement?: By creating a community Worker Cooperative not only will the community be effected but unemployed underutilized talent will realize the solution is us working together.
