Profile Information

How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
Editor of Http://www.NaturesCalendar.org The purpose is to increase awareness of the natural cycles and create a culture that celebrates these cycles. 365 days of Nature and sustainability links.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I have been interested in this movement for almost 30 years, but it hasn't been called the Transition movement.
What background and skills do you bring to this community?
I have a degree in Solar Technology (1980), live in a Off the Grid Solar house made of recycled materials. I have developed a reformed Calendar called NaturesCalendar.org that is in harmony with the natural cycle. I also have a Solar Dome that visually teaches people about the movement of the Earth and Sun.
How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement?
To share my knowledge on Sustainability and encourage people to living in harmony with nature.

Thanks for the comment. I am new to this movement, and trying to figure out how my woodworking skill fits with this movement. Is anyone working on re-skilling in Fort Collins. This may be an area that I could contribute basic woodworking skill to those that may need it in the future.

How you live your life is your true religion. Who you are is what you care about and why. It is time to remember that the word Sunday is based on the actual Sun. The sun grows our food, keeps us warm and gives us light, it is time that we as a culture reawake to living in harmony with it by celebrating the natural turning points of the Solstices.
