Profile Information

How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?: I am just beginning and hoping to learn as much as possible.

In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?: I am concerned about the way our leaders have set us up for failure in sustainable practices. There is a better way of doing things that respects the earth, plants, animals and the future of mankind. I believe that everything must begin at home and that together with like minded individuals, we can change the world.

What background and skills do you bring to this community?: I have gardened my whole life and have practiced sustainable, organic gardening over the past 12 years. I hope to gain certification from the Audubon Society in the next year and be able to share the experience of turning a dying plot of land into a living breathing ecosystem.

How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement?: I have always enjoyed leading by example and to that end keep and open mind and feel I can never learn enough. Sharing with others is a free commodity that can always be payed forward.

Your Favorite Books/Websites/Blogs/RSS Feeds for Information about the Transition Movement: None at present, but I never can get enough of Mother Earth News.
