How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
Not currently involved
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I'm interested in learning all the creative ways in which whole communities can come together to work on solutions to climate chaos, peak oil, and social work focused on what is means to be a human being on the living planet Earth at this time. I aim to help with the hands on work for a healthier world, as well as the dreams, inspirations and shifts in consciousness that the Transition model is co-creating all around the world.
What background and skills do you bring to this community?
Trained as a facilitator of the Awakening the Dreamer Symposium, a small amount (two summer's worth as a part-timer) of Organic Gardening Experience, an understanding of the issues and history of the Industrial Food system, a passion for food justice and community building, minimal understanding but a keen interest in Permaculture, a small amount of work in the Youth clean energy and climate change Movement, and laughter and smiles by the barrel.
How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement?
Mainly through helping co-create ATD symposiums, but any volunteer work directly bringing sustainable initiatives into reality, or programs that need a helping hand.
