Community Volunteer Projects

How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
I just started with the transition. I want to learn more, be involved, and co-create projects/programs, and lifestyles promoting the movement.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I see the value and benefits it can bring to people as we move into this new era. I am interested because I am looking for ways to create positive change for myself and for those around me by bridging the gap between the health and environmental movements.
What background and skills do you bring to this community?
Personal Trainer, Nutritionist, world travel related to: permaculture design and natural building, environmental volunteer, concerned and compassionate human being for others and this planet
How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement?
By starting the transition procoss in the bodys, minds and hearts of people not familar to the Transition movment (through healthful eating, personal training/exercise prescription and holistic life coaching. While introducing these principles in a non confrontational way that is fun and enjoyable.

Hi Les!

I have currently have Buffalo Heart Project under "my events" You can see the the pic. did not load right. I reformatted it, resized it and that is the best I was able to create. The origonal pic would not event show, it would come up as a small red x. Also, when I try loading a pic in a text box I get this weird file language.

Thanks for your help! I'll call you later if I still can't figure it out. Peace, Phil
