Transition Denver and the Grow Local Colorado Campaign is thrilled to announce the 2nd "Growing our Urban AgriCULTURE" potluck and networking party!

Come one, come all involved in Colorado's urban ag scene! Our first party was such a success, Grow Local has decided to do quarterly events, one in each season! This will be a Winter Potluck on Friday, Feb. 19 at Gates Hall at Denver Botanic Gardens from 6-9 p.m, and will feature a seed sharing activitiy, so bring seeds to share!. Birthday Tamales

My husband’s birthday is December 24th and I always try to do something special for him for dinner that day. This year as I was looking in the paper in the morning of the 24th, I realized that I had everything I needed for a simple variation of the very complex recipe for tamales that I found.
